2024

State Silk Museum, Tbilisi, Georgia
March 25 through April 5, 2024
Stacey and her collaborator, John Romano, were among the four artists invited by curator Lydia Matthews, Professor of Visual Culture at the New School, New York City, for a two-week visit to the Silk Museum. Matthews secured a State Department intercultural exchange grant for the visit. Stacey, John, and the other artists created work inspired by their experience in Tbilisi and at the museum. The works premiered in September 2024 as part of a celebration marking the major renovation of the historic building that houses the collection.
